How an engagement runs

Approach

  1. Assess

We review your records, contracts, funding sources and prior submissions, then tell you plainly where the gaps and risks are.

  2. Build or test

We set up the rate structure, policies and reconciliations, or perform the audit procedures, and document every conclusion so it can be explained to a reviewer.

  3. Report and support

We deliver the submission, report or findings, walk your team through them and stay available when an agency, prime or auditor sends questions.

About

Led by Sara Marshall, CPA

Axis Advisory brings 17 years of government and contractor accounting experience to every engagement. Sara began her career at the Washington State Auditor's Office and went on to work inside DOE prime contractors at the Hanford Site, in cost accounting, compliance and internal audit.

We give smaller contractors, construction firms and public agencies the level of audit and compliance work that large primes have in-house, scaled to their size and budget. We work with clients across the Pacific Northwest, the West Coast and the Mountain states.
